Middle School.

Witnessed a girl try to click and drag a loading bar to speed up the loading process.

Then at the end of class, when we were all getting ready to leave...

She was clicking back, back, back on her browser over and over again.

I asked, "What are you going back for?"

She answered, "I'm putting it back to where it was."

She thought she had to literally rewind the internet.

@Retrowire

I have to ask to see if I can spin some 'logic' into it...

Was this during the VHS-era, or during when DVD fully replaced it?

Ah.

Then I can see some 'logic' in it, even if it is stupid if she pretty much only used it at school since it was the in-between period... (Still, that sounds more like what you would expect from a pre-schooler.)

*cue you now reveal they had a PC at home and she used it regularly*

Remember when people were so clueless about computers that they would buy a monitor, mouse, and keyboard but no actual computer to plug them into, and complain that their "computer" won't boot?

My mom used to be like that. Nowadays she sticks to laptops and tablets.

My friend refuses to get a desktop because she feels like it's too much of a hassle to get it fixed if something messes up, even though she has had a laptop for about 6 years that she constantly complains about things that cannot be fixed with it.

What? I used to buy used games all the time, and I would have sworn I'd seen it all: funky unidentifiable smell, signs of someone sawing into a cartridge, weird drawings all over the cartridge, homemade instruction manuals with made up nonsense to increase the price, save files with offensive names and no progress made to troll. But never in my entire life have I seen or heard of anyone having a relative piss on their game console and cartridges. Did that really happen?

Yes.

Some of the Sega Genesis games I bought from this guy at the flea market stank of piss. More people pissed in cartridges in the old days. This one kid I went to school with washed out his Nintendo cartridges after he bought them used and the damn things still worked.

First of all, what the heck? Why were people peeing in them? And second, man they were durable O.o

lol...people were a******s back then, I don't know...
