Trying to help my friend install this super old game that came out in 2000. It's not installing at all. I run the launcher and press install and nothing happens after that. I also tried running the game in compatability mode, but nothing.

Any advice? Using Windows 10.

Without knowing the name of the game, I'll just have to say "sure".

Never played it. And it seems like a very unknown title, since I tried Googling "This Super Old Game" and couldn't find anything about it.

Did you try run as administrator as well? Also maybe try running the installer exe directly from the disc instead of going through the launcher

He might be looking at an 8-track or something that may not even have an exe. We just don't know at this point.

You must be very young if you consider a game released in 2000 "super old", also, we can't help you if you don't provide the name of the game - there are a few things you can try like running in compatibility mode etc.

@bubbub01

it'd help to know what game you're trying to install. maybe your specs would help too.

Have you tried turning it off and on again, maybe try giving it a whack, you could try blowing inside your pc.

I've managed to get every old game I wanted to run on Windows 10 to run on Windows 10. Some are super older than 2000 as well.
