GT 710 because my on-board had a crappy framerate when playing Football Manager in 3D and since that's the only PC game I play, anything better would've been a waste of cash.
Needs moar piledrivers.

I went with the 980Ti, because it's a high end GPU. I'm a slow upgrade users & don't feel like having hassle with compatibility issue. High end GPU come with larger heatsink, less noise, PCB is tougher, etc.... I don't use 100% of my GPU in most cases.

Fillrate is usually high on high end GPU. You can cut down the graphic setting, get a massive boost in framerate when you upgrade very late. Also big chip are more heavy duty as it can handle larger memory workload & gaming recording is less of an issue.

Got it in 2014.
Were used for less than two months.

Because there was an idiot in my area trying to do bitcoing mining with like 6 of them and his electrical bill went through the roof, so he sold them for something like 150€ each.
Good deal. My two friends also got one each.

rx480 crossfire

my 290x exploded and had to be RMA'd and I needed something to use while I waited. Ended up getting two and keeping them because the RMA took so long, got them right before the mining price explosion too.

I wanted to play at a consistnet 4k 60fps at max or near max so I got SLI 1080's when they launched. Previously I had SLI 970's from their launch when I played at 1440p.

gtx 660 on my main pc

Back in 2013 it was cheapest budget card I found, and even today its manageable(but then again I really dont play recent mainstream AAA games).

And on my super-budget PC, GT 1030.

It runs most games I want to play just fine at 1440x900(monitors native res') or 1280x720 if the game doesn't support 16:10. Plus it was cheap, low-profile and low-power card I could find that didn't took forever to arrive.
-Sense, this makes none-
-AMD Duron 650 @ 400 MHz / NVIDIA TITAN Xp / 2TB ram / 8MB HDD / Windows ME/ Some random PSU / Sony FW-900 24" CRT monitor-

I got a 1080 and play in 1440p.

I got it because I dont want to upgrade for a while. I should be fine for a few generations. Will probably upgrade when 4K can be more easily achieved with the mid tier graphics card, at 60 FPS, and medium high graphics.
