Ok i think i will overclock my cpu and buy a 1060 or 1070. I have never OC'd anything how do i do it exactly , should i Just look up on youtube ? Thanks

overclocking in actuality is just adjusting a bunch of numbers in the BIOS and it takes seconds to change

the actual hard part is benchmarking and adjusting the values slowly, until you reach a point where your cpu is faster but doesnt fry itself from the extra heat

any text guide should be simple enough and make sure you have a good cpu cooler that isnt stock

If your target is only 60fps you will be fine only upgrade your Rig when you need to go past 60fps that way you can save up for better parts.

Get a 1080, CPU is fine since you can overclock and have liquid cooling.
Would be a waste of money to upgrade CPU imho.

Nope. The 3570K bottlenecks the 1080. 1070 is the last GPU it can fully utilize & there's nothing wrong with that.

you see that big gulf compared to the smaller one before?

If you look at the individual scores, not the overall score, you'd see the 1080 only performs about 5% worse with the 3570k. That's the score you should be looking at, not the overall.

you might be better off getting a new rig, since you want better fps and 2k for your 2k monitor. reason, you gonna need to upgrade both cpu and gpu (try get a matching cpu and gpu, so you dont get into cpu bottleneck gpu). that mean you need new motherboard+ram.

new rig = new cooling = new mobo with new features = able to use m.2 and so on

I have no idea why people are so against new rigs here; peasantry.
