There's nothing wrong with his build for VR. It's not top-of-the-line and he's not going to be cranking the supersampling way up, but the 970 was given as the "recommended" VR card when VR was still new. I was able to use a GTX 780 and still play a lot of games well. Project Cars and Elite Dangerous were about the only two games that seriously gave me trouble.

I don't know what those other guys are smoking. The only way it could be worse than PSVR is if you only use one camera.

The Rift actually advertises the 960 and an i3 as their minimum recommended rig now (due to their Asynchronous Timewarp mode).

Re7 looks great. Skyrim is fantastic. Farpoint is awesome too
