I called customer service because Windows broke after Tuesday's update, they said my only option is to reinstall Windows.

Are you kidding me.

Well, yeah. The problem is you called Arby's. While they make tasty sandwiches, they're not known for their operating system prowess.

This made me laugh.

Same here, updated but no issues yet. I do have to say that not having the option to disable updates is by far the worst thing about Windows 10. I hate going to bed and waking up to see my computer restarted itself. I'm probably going to look into how to disable them by force even though I know it's probably not the best idea.

Wouldn't be such a problem if Windows didn't manage to mess up *something* on my computer with every update. It's always been relatively small things that I can fix/redo, but still pretty frustrating.

If you’ve called Windows customer service, you’re not allowed to give anyone advice about computers.

Ever.

At that point I called simply to see if the problem was wide-spread.

After login I would just get a black screen, safe mode wouldn't load windows explorer either. I guess this happened to a lot of PCs after the creators update.
