Who is canceling before September 1st?

Plan 1: Unlimited Streaming (no DVDs) for $7.99 a month
Plan 2: Unlimited DVDs, 1 out at-a-time (no streaming), for $7.99 a month.

The price for getting both of these plans will be $15.98 a month ($7.99 + $7.99). For new members, these changes are effective immediately; for existing members, the new pricing will start for charges on or after September 1, 2011.

probably the tv/movie studios wanted a bigger cut since network/cable tv is dying.
Still hoping for a Shenmue 3.

No big for me, I only stream with interest in DVDs so the price remains the same! neo

A raise in price without a raise in quality (not enough Movies in HD) will make it easy for me to quit them. Redbox will do just fine when I need a movie.

I already pay around 13 dollars, two more dollars will not break the bank. Plus, the increased revenue may lead to better things on instant streaming.

(Also, I don't have Showtime and Netlfix is the only way to get Blu Ray copies of Dexter. So yeah...)

Correct me if I'm wrong (Im in Canada and have only used a Netflix free trial) but isnt this a price DECREASE?
It says they had the plan at $9.99 but now its $7.99.
As told to me by Gamefaqs admin: They hire 17 year olds as moderators!

Yeah, I'll most likely just quit the dvd part of the plan, and keep Instant Streaming. Redbox is far more easily accessible when I want to watch something really recent.
