the tranforming D-Pad will break on you get the other one case closed


I got mine for MvC3 and it broke almost hitting me in the face after a couple of months. I called xbox and they said they couldn't do anything for me without a recent..even if it was a gift

The one i'm using currently isn't much older than a year. (Got it with the slim model) Would that make it part of the improved standard controllers?


I bought a replacement 360 over a year ago & the D-pad sucked on it as well.
The new Silver D-Pad is much better. Not 100% perfect (the old SNES, Genesis & Saturn D-Pad's were better), but it's easily more accurate & less fidgety then the regular.

you can mod the original controls so that the d-pad is better but it takes grinding or shaving away about half the inner ring of the d-pad
Still hoping for a Shenmue 3.
