I want to play it again now. And I just wrapped up in June.

Thanks a lot. Full Liberty City replay inbound this winter, I see. And I enjoy the tone of 4 and it's DLC. Reminded me more of Layer Cake or something. I didn't even feel the tone was new; aside from San Andreas' customization, the PS2 games had the same tone and humour to me.

Going from San Andreas to IV I did notice a more serious tone but it wasn't that drastic to me. I really liked how GTA IV carried itself. Just thought there wasn't enough to do. The details was jarring at times though, especially on my HDTV. Brought it to my friends house and the game didn't look nearly as good.

I read everything TC and it was entertaining lol

Makes me want to go back and play the game again, and get the DLC. I never played either.

I also love the detailed environment of IV.

I just hope in V there is tons of side stuff to do, because there wasn't in IV. To me, SRTT excelled in that regard. I hope IV has a similar Challenge system.

And for the record, GTA V is my most anticipated game ever, ahead of Skyrim. Before that it was RDR, and before that it was IV. I'm an open world/sandbox kind of guy.
Waiting for: Aliens: Colonial Marines, GTA V

Good post. This is why I roll my eyes at people saying GTA IV was boring. It's as boring as your imagination.

What a huge waste of time this thread is. Get Saints Row the Third if you want to play a fun game.
