If the slowdown was fixed with a patch its a solid recommend.

Not as good as the original three, and the monster designs are a little uninspired, but still a solid SH game.

I recommend playing it in 3D if you can. Looked great.

I'm getting annoyed with newer Silent Hills, as well as the movie, using the "sexy" nurse zombies and Pyramid Head. They make no sense. They exist in Silent Hill 2 for a reason, but they're just there for no reason whatsoever in every other game.

Besides the technical hiccups, my one big complaint would be the uninspired monster design.

Have you seen some of the Boogeyman's concept art? Why oh why couldn't they have gone with one of those amazing designs! I'd also be willing to bet you money they had an actual monster in mind for those chase sequences and not some stupid tear in the fabric of reality, or demonic vacuum, or whatever that thing was. Knocking over the cages to slow it down didn't make a lick of sense. If I had to guess, issues with slowdown, programing, or time prevented them from putting in the creature that was actually supposed to be pursuing you
