Having researched Japan version that released last month, in my opinion it's really proven to be one of the greatest action games that gamers can play and holds enough content to be one of the longest lasting action videogames in history.

It's videogames like this that really makes gamers in the west glad they aren't skipped from localization. It's digital but it still 100% quality and 100% content that came on the Japanese version disk,

plus it's natural for gaming to go digital like music, and movies have.

And videogames still run on Xbox360 even if your disk drive doesn't work anymore. And it's free to redownload games compared to replacing broken disks.

Xbox 360 HDD > disks

faster loading and easier to launch and start playing too! (plus digital downloads of new large games usually are sold for $10 less than a disk copy. So instead of paying $60, I think this might be $50 like some other major disk sized Xbox360 games)

Yea unlike the usual action game these days, Ken's Rage 2 is one of those rare quality action games that not only delivers a 16-20+ hour story mode,
but also a creative dream mode that supports stuff like
splitscreen co-op,
online co-op,
online 8 players team matches (could be fun for groups of friends)
and original stories exclusive to the game.

Any fans of beat em ups/brawlers should not miss out. :)

The combat is a step above timeless classics like Streets of Rage, Final Fight, TMNT, Double Dragon, more brutal action and enemy counts too (greater amount of unique bosses too that are strongly tied to the story.)

And massively improved gameplay, faster and more fluid combat, higher framerate, tons more missions, complete story arcs, finally online play included, etc. etc.

Even those that haven't seen the manga/anime before, Fist of the North Star Ken's Rage 2 is the only Hokuto No Ken videogame that has the complete story arcs from Hokuto No Ken 1 and Hokuto No Ken 2
, and goes in depth by using 3D manga and cinematic style cutscenes.

Each of the 22 playable characters even have more signature super moves than most fighting game characters!! (well you start with one, then unlock the others. Some characters have more signature super moves,
but the key thing about the super move selection is that it opens up more combo finisher possibilities, as well as play styles.
A single combo could be finished differently by linking a different super move to it.
It's very cool and rewarding combat that gets better. )

The meridian chart/scroll system also lets players customize stats (which also affects how easy or challenging the difficulty setting is.)

Fist of the North Star has come a long way. :)

I've seen the line up of action games for Xbox 360
and in my opinion there's really no other action game that stacks as much
* fun modes,
*splitscreen and online Co-op support
*story length, memorable cast of characters, and more story depth than some RPGs,
*TONS of extra missions that supports any unlocked character and co-op features.
*large and diverse selection of 22 playable characters with unique fighting styles,
*party sport (4 vs 4 team matches completing mission objectives, HNK brawler style.)
*and replay value potential than Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage 2. ^_^

So yea as a fan, I have taken the time to let the X360 community be aware of this quality game, so people can decide if it's their kind of gaming entertainment. :)

I used to be this way. You will change too, in time. You will have to.

Unless you mod, what's the difference if it's digital or not?
