Why is it when most games come out there MONTHS before here, we do not receive a wackload of reviews?

you're just not looking in the right place.
Yes Japan reviews their games, but american reviewers do not go by those reviews and do not typically review games until they have a NA version of the game inhand.

Please, do point me out reviews done in Japanese.

Despite the replies, no one is able to actually link to one.

Why would American reviewers not go by these reviews? It's the same game. Tell us how the game is 6 months before it comes out. Why would you not take advantage of that?

Why don't you just Google it?

Famitsu reviewers gave Project X Zone (3DS) 8/9/9/8 (4 reviewers)

Famitsu is literally the only large gaming journalism website out of Japan that I can remotely think of. They're popular even in the West. Outside of that, it's peer review websites.

I DID google it. Through a Japan VPN. There is nothing.

There was also one other reviewing magazine from I regularly read about, but I forgot what it's called.

In SA2, it's Super Sonic and Hyper Shadow.
