As always, I will follow the software. I chose the 360 over the PS3 because the 360 exclusives (timed and otherwise) were more in line with what I wanted to play. If MS' next machine has more of the games that I want to play then of course I'll go with them.

That being said, I am leery of MS hardware regarding quality this gen, especially their controllers. I had a launch XBox 1 with the big ass "Duke" controller. It lasted the whole life of that console and I played the hell out of it.

With the 360, I've gone through several controllers because they keep developing calibration problems that cause things like drift or slow turn. And just so everyone know what those are:

Drift: When the controller recognizes input even when the analog stick is at neutral. This makes your character move or look around even when you're not moving the stick.

Slow turn: When your controller does not register the analog stick's full extent of movement. So even if you've got the stick hard left or hard right, it still behaves as if you're only moving the stick part way.

Microsoft is in it to win it.

Nintendo appears to be floundering.

Sony has thrown in the towel in the concept of "it only does everything" and ceded that future to Microsoft. Plus they have a real issue in creating blockbusters, they haven't done that in over a decade.

Short answer: Nope

Sorry, but if MS are no longer interested in offering great exclusives then I'll buy the console that does.

And if the PS4 bans used games then I won't be getting it either.
