Tomb Raider. Whether you think mgr is a good game or not, there's no ignoring the length of the game hurts it value greatly.

I did not enjoy the MGR demo, but I heard the full game was nothing like the demo. Not entirely sure though as he did not say why. Still, I don't think the gameplay could be that different between the full game and demo.

I think TR would offer more though. MGR just seems more like a hack and slash, while TR has shooting, discovering, puzzle solving, etc. Good or bad, it has mp which MGR does not.

Tomb Raider. MGR is too short to justify full price, Tomb Raider seems to be a longer game with MP so you'll get your money's worth from that.

2 completely different games. MGR is an all out, adrenaline soaked action game with a ton of replay value whereas TR looks to be an adventure game like Uncharted (haven't played TR so I can't comment on it at all). Do you want fast paced action or an adventure with MP?
Can't spell ignorant without "IGN"!!!

That's not good enough to justify $60 usd.

Yeah, for some, not for others. Bayonetta was also a "short" game and gave many people hours upon hours of entertainment due to the replay value.
