Games where time passes and it changes from day to night and back again? I freaking hate playing a game where half the time I can't see anything. In Elder Scrolls or any other game that allows it, I fast forward to daytime as soon as the sun hits the horizon.

And is it just me, or does every game that features this have approximately 71 hours of night for every 4 hours of daylight? And don't even get me started on missions and objectives that MUST be completed at night. Sheesh.

Anyway, I've been playing red dead redemption today and it's been pitch black night the entire time I've been playing. End rant.

Just admit it, you're scared of the dark.

I like day and night cycle games, i don't think there is any excuse for games not to have them, but i prefer day to night. I especially hate dusk and dawn though, nasty orange colors. Day>Night>Dawn>Dusk

I like day and night cycles in games. As long as you're not timed for the nighttime mission, let it be.

If the shops did not close for business it wouldn't be so annoying but it seems every time I quick travel to town to sell some junk it is always night time.

Mostly I see people complaining if there isn't a day/night cycle.

My assassin in Dragon's Dogma absolutely LOVED the night... being able to one-shot almost anything in the game made the dark afraid of me.
