Yeah the NFL has pretty much the worst situation for the players out of the major sports, high chance of your career ending suddenly + mostly non guaranteed money unless you are a star QB which is basically like 5-10 players out of 1500. If you get hurt or aren't playing as well as the team thought you would they can just cut you and not have to pay anything or less than you bargained for. Not the best example of overpaid athletes.

Still makin 6 figures for playing a game. They get paid GREAT and that's a fact.

I agree though, not overpaid.

CEO's are idea men, they get paid for their ideas, it's not their job to make it work, only to think of what they want to do to improve the business. Typically CEO's get paid for what they've done in the past and what they will do in the future.

If you had amazing ideas that people would want to buy and the education you too could be a CEO. That's the thing lots of people don't understand about what a CEO does, they think of ideas on how to improve the business then pass those ideas onto the people below them. Those people work out how to make the idea work.

If the idea works everyone praises the CEO because it was his idea. It's unfair but that's the way things work. When the idea fails the CEO catches all the blame for having bad ideas and loses his job, even if the idea not working wasn't his fault at all.

That's the way business works, it's been that way for years and will continue to be that way until the small man raises up against the current overlords and over throws them, to elect new overlords and repeat the cycle. Only having things be more fair for everyone..... atleast for a few years, until we start to value the idea man again and everything repeats itself.

You'd change your tune if you made your employer tens if not hundreds of millions and were paid grossly out of proportion of your worth.

Again, most of that was stock, not cash and he's partially owned and ran Activision for like 20 years.
Band/Artist I've been listening to way too much: Fallon Bowman/Amphibious Assault.
