I was just wondering, where can I buy an XBOX 360 update disc?Does Microsoft still sell them?

(It's the disc that allows you to play original XBOX games on the 360)

No.

To be honest, I'm not sure if that also installs the BC update. I suppose it couldn't hurt to try it, though.

Why not just hook your 360 into your modem/router and let it download the update?

No, you can't. And if you could, you wouldn't be able to play the new games that use the modified DVD format for the copy protection, so you wouldn't want to anyway.

Thanks for all the responses!

I don't have XBox live,so I cant download it from there.

I guess I'll try downloading and burning the update to a cd and see if it helps with the BC.

It's a shame if they stopped selling/carrying the update disc.

You don't have to subscribe to Live to get the update. You can do it with a free account, which is easy to setup. Simply plugging your Xbox into your router would by far be the easiest route. Aside from that, you can probably save the update to a flash drive.
