If they did, they would of gloated about it. And it was only a few weeks ago that they claimed they would take the records back. Just goes to show quality over quaintly.

Eh, as much as I like GTA V, it was a bit boring and hated how they counted the stupid preparation missions which can be finished in under a minute as actual missions.

There really isn't much to do either.

You can't really go on a wild chase like in past GTAs where you go across the city fighting cops, SWAT and army, for some stupid reason. Snipers on choppers have amazing 101% accuracy when shooting at you, health and armor doesn't do much and you can go down very fast. Stupid spawn system too.

They 'tried' to gloat over copy's shipped to retailers but that don't mean crap!

Edit: also xbone and ps4 preorders are most likely counted as well.

I'm honestly glad Ghost is lacking in predicted sales and whatnot. GTA 5 deserves every penny

Probably waiting until they see profits from all consoles before releasing details.
Maybe we're just sleepwalkin' ..

I'm pretty sure they said that they didn't even beat BO2's "sell-through" numbers ( to the customer ) which IIRC was 550 million day one? So compared to 800 million in actual sales generated from V, the day one numbers were a great deal less.

I expected this.

People at Infinity Ward should probably get their resumes up to date...
The claim: I play what's fun.
The truth: Video games aren't entertaining enough, I must chide others for choosing to play something I won't.

They don't count. Unless they shipped them out at the same time.

But yeah, Ghosts didn't break the record. It'll probably catch up after the Holidays.
Hell, it's about time.

The way the sales numbers are calculated doesn't make much sense anyways, it's not an accurate way to judge real sales.
