Some of the games require Xbox live, but not all of them. I know all of the XBLIG games DO require Xbox live, but I do not believe any of the GWG ones do. That is only on the Xbox One.

Later this week, I'm probably going to burn through them to see which one (likely all) need a title update, since I haven't played many of them yet.

Also... probably 10 of the games I could not copy or move, only transfer. Not sure why those games, specifically, did that. Oddly, one was a Saints Row game, which I had to re-download and transfer. Yet, none of the other Saints Row games did.

BTW... Max, The Curse of the Brotherhood IS still available on Xbox 360... and also Xbox One, so I'm sure it will be around for a while.

I'll look into other free games as well. Thanks.

It can also be found here for 73 cents:

I've never shopped at GamesDeal though so hopefully it's not a bad site I linked on this.

Oh, and FireDrake, it's a good game to play if you want to start trimming down your backlog.

It should take maybe two or three casual days to complete.

I have lost all hope of ever trimming down my backlog to a manageable size, but I will look into it. It looks decent.

Zeit^2 and Yar's Revenge are solid arcade titles, and of course Trials: Evolution is a major 360 item, since that's the only place you can get the DLC. That game is fantastic and has so much great added user content on 360 it's ridiculous.

Ouch, you missed Storage Inc and AtomHex from the indies. Those were fantastic. You can get a PC version of AtomHex still from the dev if you search for it, but Storage Inc only has Storage Inc 2, which tragically is poorer than the original in almost every respect.

You do realize the only way you can play those games is if you're connected to Xbox Live. I recently found that out myself when I tried to play some games I had downloaded when I wasn't connected. I don't think there's much cause for worry though because I doubt Xbox Live on the 360 will be discontinued anytime soon.

It depends. If you're playing those games on a system that isn't your "primary"(as in your game licenses aren't located on that 360), then yes, you need LIVE to access them. It's a verification process to make sure you aren't screwing microsoft over by making a bunch of copies of your profile and games just to give them away

If it is your main machine with all the game licenses on board, then you do not need LIVE to play them. Exceptions to XBLIG titles as well as any online only title(obviously)
