Amen

Then they complain games are too violent and easy for kids to access.

"I am a sucky parent and my kid drives me crazy. I wish he was never born and his dad wasn't a deadbeat father. He wants this violent game that will direct all of his frustrations about how crappy our lives are into something he finds productive. Strap my boy in, I'm finally getting some time away from this parasite."

7 does seem too young, but how do you kow she wasn't fully aware of the content and confident that her child would be okay with it? Maybe she supervises the kid's playing time and regulates game content responsibly?

when i was growing up, games were not online capable. heck I'm okay with parents buying games like this for their kids if they think it's fine but do not allow them to go online without adult supervision.
