All I remember buying from this year's were Starhawk, Black Ops II, God of War Saga (I know it's only a collection), and PlayStation All-Stars. I have my eye on Borderlands 2 and Assassin's Creed III, but I need to finish their predecessors before I move on. I was pretty much disappointed with everything except for GoW. All-Stars was fun for a bit, but there just wasn't enough to keep me hooked.

I want to know how you guys felt about this year, and if there are any purchases you recommend.

It was a typical year. I usually buy 2-3 per year and this year I got 3.

-Dragon's Dogma (easy to recommend if you like open-world RPGs)

-Kingdoms of Amalur (another OW-RPG, although there is no party, and the game is so easy that some people grow bored quickly.)

-WWE 13 (it's in the mail, but looks pretty darn good aside from a few technical glitches.)
PSN #1: Nicodimus - Dragon's Dogma Pawn: Kaylee (Fighter)
PSN #2: Nicodimus222 - Dragon's Dogma Pawn: Mina (Mage)

I'm already looking forward to GoW: Ascension and Grand Theft Auto V next year. Will check out your suggestions. I'm just tired of making bad decisions and letting hype guide me.

A weak year altogether. There are no big big GotY must have's like last years big three (portal 3, Arkham City, Skyrim) last year also had Uncharted 3 which was very good as well.

Still didn't play Hitman and Farcry but I doubt they will be THAT amazing. I'm sure theyre good though

Im excited for next year. Especially The Last of Us and GTA V

Far Cry 3 really looks like it'll be a big hit. It's not even out, yet it has a 91 metacritic.

Pretty great for me, personally.

SH: Downpour was great,

Borderlands 2 was fantastic,

Nights, MGS, Jet Set Radio, and Jak got nice HD re-releases,
Malicious came out in North America,

Dishonored is really good so far,

Darksiders 2 is a lot more fun than the first one,

Dead Island was great for co-op,

Gotham City Impostors was surprisingly good and ended up being one of my most played multiplayer games,

Twisted Metal was a great reboot,

Lollipop Chainsaw was hilarious,

Spec Ops was one of the most surprising games I've played and had an amazing story,

Quantum Conundrum was almost as good as Portal 2 for me,

Papo & Yo and Journey weren't the most gameplay heavy games, but I appreciated what they did.

Pretty good year altogether.
