I'd haven't heard anything myself, but I was hoping you could just pay on a monthly basis through PSN. I'm not familiar with the PC version, but I'm assuming it was all done through PlayOnline?

Also, do we know what the monthly rate will even be?

I still play FF11 and when i add time for it though the PlayOnline website, I'm given the option to add it for FF11 or FF14.

While it would be nice, I'd be surprised if they make it as easy as just going into the PSN store to add time considering all the different payment options and verification required while on the Playonline website.

its going be $12.99 when 2.0 rolls out I believe

$9.99 if you are a Legacy member, $12.99 for Entry (which is 1 character, but really all you need), and $14.99 for Standard, which is 8 characters if you want to play with other races or use mules.

No idea on payment methods.

Subscribed for 90+ cumulative days after the free trial period on the original XIV.
They also get an exclusive in-game Chocobo mount and can have their name displayed in the credits for ARR.

So yeah, the time has passed, but it was meant for the people who stuck with it, which did get a lot of positive updates prior to ARR.

$12.99 a month really isn't that bad to me. I spend over $20 a month going to movie theater for latest 2 hour movies.
