I play the classic Sonic games quite often. And I've played Crash 2 and 3 through about 10 times each. And Tomba, played that a ton as well. And the Spyro games for the PSone. Man I loved my PSone, glad I could rebuy them on PSN.

Sometimes I'll pop SMB in the my dad's NES and see if I can't die on the world with the flying cheep-cheeps (3-1, I think). We still keep a CRT television for Duck Hunt, too.

There's a lightgun/accessory out there that let's you play lightgun games on LCD/LED/Plasma games.

Oldest game i have played.... hmmm.... Qbert on Atari 2600 (the wood panel verson.. not 64 or jaguar).. Quite recently too... dug it out of a box i havent been in for awhile :P

Why would you hate me. LOL Im not that guy youre describing in the least. Not even when i was 9 years old.

Ok I went hard there, but my point stands. Don't call 4 y.o. games "old a$$ games". It looks like you're talking about an old decrepit debris collecting dust and mold under your bed.
Oh well.

I suggest (no trolling) that you play some of the games mentioned around here, I'm sure you'll find that 10-20+ y.o. games are a lot of fun.
Go play any original Mega Man, Castlevania, Ninja Gaiden or Mario. Hard, unforgiving, but often a lot more statisfying than the roller-coater rides games today provide us. (5 min, checkpoint, 5 min, checkpoint, cutscene, checkpoint, etc) :-D
