As a kid I enjoyed Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, Jak and Daxter, Rare games, and others, but nowadays most western developed games bore me.

There are exceptions like Retro Studios and WayForward, among others, but for the most part I don't care for western games.

My brothers like them though so I still own them.

Most of my games are Japanese, I think. There's no way I'd deliberately avoid Western games, but there are just few that interest me, it's mostly only the odd point-and-click adventure, and I almost exclusively play JRPGs now, anyway.

Western games got the upper hand this gen. In fact they crushed japanese games in terms of quality.

I dont avoid buying a game knowing where it was developped. Except for jrpgs... which are now very bad.

Might wanna get your facts straight if you want to present something as a fact.

I think people are not stupid and they are able to do their research themselves about the best reviewed games of this gen and the best selling games of this gen.

google is there.

But the fact that the 1st japanese game in on spot 10 says a lot.

I just dont like most of westerns rpg, I think the art es ugly, animations are cheap, voice acting too, and gameplay (Fallout, Skyrim, Dragon Age, etc). maybe the game is 1000000 times bigger than normal rpgs but I dont really care about that.
