I temporarily had another PS3 and used it for a while, but when I got my old PS3 back, I never got around to deactivating my account on my temporary PS3. That and enough gamesharing to catch a virus, I don't feel all my content will be secured if my PS3 Phat goes under.

I also wanted to transfer stuff to my PSP 3000, but apparently there's another PSP already activated. I thought it was my first PSP 1000, but no matter how many times I deactivate it, it won't be removed as an activated system.

They can, but they don't like doing it. But I think there's a website that lets you remotely deactivate them yourself. I don't have the link to it though...

EDIT: Yeah, the above poster got it.

Yeah, this is no good. PSP systems can be deactivated, but not PS3s.

Yes they can.
"Deactivate all systems" does that.

Really, now?

Would I be able to reactivate my PS3 and Vita easily if I nuke them all?

Yes you can. Just activate them under ”Account Management” again. I think the website reactivation is once every 3 months. I did call once and asked them to deactivate everything since I activated a friend's console who was in another state and forgot to deactivate it before I left. I couldn't reset from the website because I had done it too recently. The guy on the phone said he could deactivate them once by phone.
