ign and gamespot both gave the ps3 version of dmc a lower score due to frame rate issues and audio bugs. how embarrassing.

Um, both consoles have been getting inferior versions of muliplatform games since their debuts. You don't run to consoles when you're looking for the superior product.

Lazy programmers?

IIRC, didn't they figure out that they can make better multi-platform ports be developing for the ps3 first the porting to Xbox a long time ago?

PS4 November 2013 - SOLVED

You know what I wish, If there is ps3 compatibility on ps4, then when you play PS3 games on PS4, it actually allows the game to use more of its resources, more than the ps3 would have used. That would actually fix a lot of the framerate and loading problems some of the ps3 ports suffer.

But that is just a pipedream, typically emulation is done 100% so that no unknown issues may arise, meaning it won't take advantage of the better hardware.

Yeah, but I wouldn't call it lazy. Some yes, but there are time constraints that have to be factored in. Although I would call Bethesda lazy.

Good point, I should not tar all devs with the same brush if their parent company impose unrealistic deadlines too.

I think the ps4 will solve this. If you check the specs it seems like it is going to blow the next box out of the water...and also they are ditching the cell processor...so making games for it will not be a headache anymore.
An excuse is the sauce fools spoon over failure to hide the flavor of their own incompetence.
