Make a not so great game in a genre of great games and yes, you have a problem. Every new game in a genre should either be better than the best of the genre, or should be different enough to stand as a new concept within the genre.

This game obviously isn't creative in anyway. It's a generic free form combo action title, and it obviously doesn't compare to games of it's style, like Bayonetta.

It seems Ninja Theory is cursed in that their games simply do not sell that well. Heavenly Sword still remains its best selling game. That's not to say that dmc will not surpass it, but It does not seem likely that it will surpass the most previous entry into the series DMC4.

Cursed? They are just crap devs.

They are just another Suda.

Consistent 6-7 games but nothing groundbreaking. Even with DmC, it is a 6-7. Nothing stellar, and nothing to the rest of the series.

At least Suda has style...
