i used to be that guy who would blast COD for being a rehashed, generic FPS. until last night. last night i went to a friends house and we, along with a few other people took turns playing Black Ops 2 online. now i dont know if its because i was with a bunch of my friends or not but i had a really fun time playing it, even though i sucked. for all of the FPS pros out there, what would be my best bet for an online FPS that would be best for a rookie. it doesn't have to be a COD game. also a good campaign mode wouldn't hurt too. i'm open to all opinions.

Brink players tend to be pretty laid back and open to new players. Plus the game's like ten bucks so a lot of new people tend to flow in pretty often so you won't have much trouble with people using higher level gear.

CoD, it's definitely the most n00b friendly. Just grab a high damage gun and crouch in a corner and shoot everything that comes close and from time to time throw random grenades over walls. Insta Win.
