The game has no multiplayer, it is just 10 hours long.

I personally think it is not.
I think everyone in the gaming world weather you are a Nintendrone, Sony Pony, Xbot or part of the Master Race can agree that Patcher should be fired.

No. People that say "Quality over quantity" are full of it. IMO.

Depends on the game, and the individual.

I have spent $50-$70 on games that are 1-3 hours long, and didn't regret it.

Depends on the quality of the game. For example:

MGR - Yes, worth it.
DmC - Not in a million years.

Sure, they can be. I play games slow though so when people say something's 10 hours I usually end up with 15 to 20 hrs put into it.

No, we're not "full of it". We just have different preferences than you, and that's ok.

A lot of it is because I started gaming on the NES, and still play older games frequently. Most people who started gaming when I did or earlier feel the same way.

Nope, I was gonna get Bioshock Infinite until I found out that they removed multiplayer. No way am I paying $60 for a 8 hours or less linear story mode.

Depends on the experience. Worth is individual. I have no issues with a great experience even if it is shorter than average.

Not to mention I will probably play through the game a few times if I enjoy it before shelfing it. Plus I tend to take longer during my playthroughs than most people. I stop and look around, take in the scenery so to speak quite a bit.

So a "10 hour" game to most would probably be 15 to 20 for me first run and I would squeeze a few more play throughs out of it resulting in probably around 35 to 40 hours total.
