I downloaded it for free with PS+ and am 3 hours into the campaign, and I think it's great. I don't understand why some reviewers gave it 6's and 7's.

The controls feel very stable, the combat is like Uncharted with a Gears of War cover system, the story is interesting and easy to follow so far, and the graphics are rough around the edges but still a really nice looking game with all the cool detailed environments.

Because the gameplay is very bland.

For a good part of the game, it was pretty meh. The story was great, but that didn't really even become apparent until a good ways through the game. Until then, it was just your average run of the mill shooter with a couple of quirky characters and a fairly average story.
I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.

Is it worth playing just for the story? I heard so many great things about that particular aspect.

Five-six hour game. Horrific outsourced multiplayer shoehorned in.

Truthfully, it is a worthy campaign, just a crime to spend more than $15-20 for it given the length.

I really how people now call 7/10 a bad score.

In a word: Yes.

I wouldnt look into the game, though. It's best you know as little as possible going in.

I think everyone in the gaming world weather you are a Nintendrone, Sony Pony, Xbot or part of the Master Race can agree that Pachter should be fired.

You could say the same about almost every game this gen. From bioshock and deadspace 2 to the new god of war, short games with multiplayer no one asked for
Now Playing: Ni No Kuni, Dead Space 3, XCOM: Enemy Unknown, AC3
