usually there's a very slight advantage to fighters on 360. Dead or Alive is something like one frame faster on the 360 compared to the PS3 version. On the flip side, the PS3 always has the bigger community.

If you aren't using a fight stick however, you should definitely go for the PS3 version or at the very least grab on of these for your 360:

Both were nearly unplayable for me for months. Komplete on PS3 ran... Better... But still had a 2 second delay. Won't even touch on Xbox.

Netcode will not be better on 360 most fighters play the same on each console, MK9 as just as bad on 360.
