I really enjoyed the game but about 3/4 of the way through I was already getting desensitized to the over-the-top action. I really think that it had TOO MANY "unbelievable" close-call moments.

That's realism for ya.

The original Tomb Raider games weren't about over-the-top-action. They were just... videogames.

The original PS1 era TR games were good. The newer ones just follow the same generic design as any other game this gen.

I completely agree with you TC, but i was fed up with them about half way through.

as for the old tomb raiders, this one isnt an old tomb raider, I dont think they were trying to make an exact replica of the old ones, and I thank them for it. I wasnt a fan of those but I enjoyed this one for the most part.
