I admit I counted my eggs before they can hatch. But also I don't like many things so I get a lot of games as gifts and such.

Now I am sitting on a pile of games I need to finish.

Any way to strategize a way to take them down? Maybe start with the shortest first. Go for the ones I started but never finished? Burn them?

Stop buying games

Pick games that are shorter and appealing

Focus on one game at a time

Whatever you do, ignore the shelf that holds your game cases

Don't count Steam as your backlog, everyone has several dozen games on Steam they'll never play

Thanks for the help guys. I forgot how dickless everyone can be around here -.-

So either someone's a dick or dickless? Sounds bad either way.

Also, actually PLAY the games! A solid 2-3 hours everyday and you'll be breezing through games in no time.

Play them for fun, don't treat it as a chore.
Don't buy more games til you beat the ones you have.
I try and play a few at a time to keep it interesting rather than focus on one. But I'll usually play something casual or something that I can just pick up and not have to worry about forgetting the plot or the controls etc.

pick a game, beat it, pick another game, beat it, pick another game, etc.

save the long rpgs for last since they take up the most time and going on a break could really mess up the story's pace and feel (forgotten plot points, objectives, combat knowledge, etc.)
