For months now, I've been planning to make the move back to PS3. Yet, every time I did, my mind went into damage-control mode.

-"There's no point, you have them on Xbox 360 already!"
-"You're just gonna pay more money now."
-"Xbox 360 is a good enough system."
-"You have all your other games for it!"

But those thoughts wear off when I forget about them and my heart goes back to saying...

-"No, switch to PS3 now."
-"Done babysitting three consoles? There's one that doesn't need your attention."
-"Microsoft screwed you and everybody else. There's no point in supporting them now."
-"You're getting all your new games on PS3 now right? Get the online ones you have on 360 while they're cheap."
-"Not like you're renewing Xbox Live Gold, anyway."
-"Missing your XBLA games? Get them on Steam."

In my soul, I know that PS3 is the choice system now. It's not like 20 years ago when SNES came back and beat the Genesis, where Sega just faded away as a distant second place. Microsoft killed their legacy with their poor PR and pro-casual, anti-hardcore sentiment, moneygrabbing tactics, and companies supporting Sony with exclusives and exclusive content.

There's no point in hiding it anymore. I'm going to re-buy Injustice, TTT2, and Dark Souls for PS3 (I'll find cheaper prices), and because of the auto-renew fiasco from last year (which I've since canceled), I won't be supporting them again. Not only that, but here's the kicker:

As of the last couple of days, my Xbox 360 has blacked out on my TV several times for no reason at all. Someone said it's a sign of RRoD. If that's the case, I won't have any more reason to support it. No chance to repair, not interested, and I can sell off all my 360 games and put it towards my desktop and more PS3 games. The rest is just money in my pocket.

I remember my urge. Having many digital games on Xbox, I had to tell myself that I don't have to by them all in one go for PS3.

Over six months later, I have been happy. Although I did fire up my Xbox back in May, I haven't touched it since being suspended.

Over time, I have most games I had on 360 on PS3 now, with no regrets.

Do it, Soma... DO EEEEEEEEEEEEEET....

i just came back to PS3 today too. I just had one for a few months back in 07 or 08 and my memory was pretty blank on it all i remembered was super stardust hd. so far its been very refreshing and impressive and i might have to go from playing the ps3 for the exclusives and mainly using 360 to the other way around.

i was mainly worried about not liking the ps3 controller because i really love the 360 controller but so far its been better than what i was expecting/remember
PS3. Because PS4 can wait.
