Nope. I transitioned from an Xbox 360, PS3, and Nintendo Wii to just a PS4 in the eighth generation. Multi-platform games play better on the PS4, and I would rather just build up one library.

Seeing as it's actually only been less than 9 months later I'll bite. No, I'm an adult who remember previous console releases and understands that it takes about 2 to 3 years before a console reaches it's stride. I kept my PS3 so I would have other games to pay.
The trouble is not that I am single and likely to stay single, but that I am lonely and likely to stay lonely.

12 months later and the PS4 has abysmal amount of games worth playing. Rivalry pretty much only the VITA for last place next gen between handhelds and consoles (unless the Ouya counts). I know most PS3 gamers have been tired of shooting games being the only games on PS4 and are moving onto the Wii-U. The Last of Us is cool and all but it's just a remake and it's no Wind Waker anyway.

Hahahahahaha, TC, you so silly. NO ONE is moving on to the Wii U. Stop trying to sell Nintendo's joke of a system here.

Anyone who actually knows anything about the PS4, which you obviously do not, would know that there's more than shooters coming to it. All the major JRPG makers are making games for it (Falcom, Squeenix, Namco, etc...) and you've got things like Bloodborne coming. So, no, none of us are. Go back to the Wii U board.

Do I own a PS4 yet? No. There's no need to yet. Sometime in 2014, I most likely will. As will a lot of others. But unlike the Wii U, the 3rd party games are coming and they're more than just shooters.

Absolutely, already dumped the PS4.

-Shameless use of porting PS3 games
-Less features than the PS3, a 9 year old console
-$50 online multiplayer paywall
-No signs of Sony doing ANYTHING to address said criticisms

If I wanted Remasters, I'd buy the Steam copies for $10 on Steam sales. Without any online paywall, without having to pay Steam AGAIN to play the games I already own on a newer/older PC, and still bet on getting new games all the time.

PS4 is the most shameless console out there. A farce after Sony re-invigorated the PS3 with the Slim redesign, now it's all about ports and muh 1080p60FPS since they can't be bothered to buy real exclusives.

Sticking with the PS3, PC, and hopefully a Wii U by the end of the year. Tired of Sony's constant viral marketing, "#4TheGamers", what a joke marketing campaign.

My PS3 is brand new... So, I don't know. In 3-4 years I give an answer.
Playing: Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten; Valkyria Chronicles; Conception II: Children of the Seven Stars; Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask.

Nope. The only console to come out and do things CORRECTLY with games was when the Dreamcast launched back in 1999. Never before or after has there been such an amazing amount of both quantity AND quality in a lineup. At this rate it might very well be nearly 3 YEARS before the current gen has enough quality to rival the Dreamcast LAUNCH lineup. It's that bad folks. :(

Unfortunately console manufacturers think it's okay to leave us with remakes, rehashed FPS games and **** in general while they make us wait until we're desperate to purchase anything and then they throw out DLC-filled nonsense and 'Day One' editions. (Seriously, WHY is this a thing?)
I was modded for posting a link to GameStop requiring fingerprints for all trade-ins. Reason given: Off Topic
The Mods here are the worst I've ever seen. Ever.

If they go the way the E3 press conference indicated I'll probably find no reason to go with a Playstation 4. They did nothing to convince me as a consumer to buy their product and this is coming from someone who bought a vita at launch.
I'm not dumb. I just have a command of thoroughly useless information.

Seeing as I got a PS4 yesterday... nope. Got Battlefield 4, Infamous: Second Son, EA UFC and Trials Fusion to play now. Next month Destiny. Then Middle-Earth: Shadow Of Mordor, WWE 2K15, Dragon Age Inquisition, Far Cry 4 and AC Unity. Early 2015 will be for Batman: Arkham Knight, The Order 1886, The Witcher 3 and Battlefield Hardline.

In other words, plenty of games coming out soon. I'm good.
Nothing isn't better or worse than anything. Nothing is just... nothing.
