Ok, I'm not liking BN5 right now. I never thought it was a big issue when people kept saying that the codes for the BN5 chip library were terrible, but the more I play it, the more it becomes apparent.
For example, I can't find more than 2 different Fire chips with the same code for Napalm Soul's chip charge ability. Airspin 1, 2, 3, and Tornado don't share any common codes, meaning any sort of a wind folder will be light on wind chips or have code clashing. I can't find many good elec chips in the codes that the Voltz 1, 2, and 3 chips come in. There are a decent amount of Elec chips in the C code provided I use Customvolt (which I don't care for) and Thunder *, which is meh. The other elec chips in the C code are pretty low damage, especially when I don't get a Sea Seed.
I guess Swords are the only chips that don't have this issue (at least as far as the Protoman Souls are concerned). Swords seem to have a lot of chips that overlap in codes like E, L, S, Z, and probably another code or two. I don't mind having a sword folder, but it's really not working out for the 2nd bonus liberation mission.
Well, I've decided to take a break from BN5 and start up BN4 Blue Moon. Elec, Break, and Wood are my top 3 favorite elements (I really like Aqua in BN6 too). Don't have an Elec Soul in Blue Moon, but I do have the other 2, and I wouldn't mind trying out a Junk Soul folder. So far I just finished the first tournament and got Aqua Soul.

Classic Megaman strived well to becoming number 4 of this year's Character battle. All the rest now with the finals, I don't care anymore. lol
And I thought that other guy who ended the topic would be making the new one, I guess that was a bad assumption. 363 days...so close. haha
I really just remembered playing BN5 for the fun gimmicks of the storyline. Especially Team Blues, where I can do Blues and Search soul unisions. Of course, having a crappy folder really does take the focus of them. Blah
