What the heck is a solo barb supposed to do to advance beyond Act I Inferno?

OK wow... I had heard that Inferno Act 2 was where things started to get rough, but I never expected that I'd show up in Act 2 and immediately start dying all over the place and even get 1-shot frequently by various mobs.

I have no idea what to do. I thought my gear and build was good... I have zero problems with anything on Act I inferno... can take on rares/elites/bosses very easily with no deaths and really no problem.

Any advice? I know I'm probably going to have to grind gold for a while, but what should I even be looking to spend it on? What build and what sort of stats are needed for a solo barbarian to get through Act 2?

Rely on skills.

Sadly it seems like only PsyStarcraft and ForceStrategy are the only skilled barbarians in Diablo 3 (I guess Kungen isn't too bad either)

Get some attack speed, crit chance, and crit damage. Your resistances seems good enough for now.

Please explain how "rely on skills" solves the problem of losing between 20-100% of your health per hit depending on what enemy you're fighting.

Stack more Vit and All Res, yours is pretty low.
You have no Life on Hit. Fix that ASAP.

Give us your build:

Your resists are too low, you have No +life on hit, no crit chance or crit damage. Focus on getting those without losing too much life or armor IMO

For reference sake: I have 43k life, 8.5k armor, 21k damage, ~620 all resist, 800 life on hit, 1.92 attack speed, 31% crit, 149% crit damage, and beat act 2

all stats fully buffed with this build: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/barbarian#WRPkiX!ZbV!cbYcaa

If you farm Act 1, will you have a chance to find gear that will give you what you need for Act 2?

I'm in act 1 also...don't really feel like farming 20 million gold. It would be nice to know I have a chance to find some items myself.

Rather than rehash what he has to share, I'll just say, watch some Kripparrian videos.
