F*** that noise. Every character in FFII can learn 100% instakill spells

can it kill most bosses though ;)

You'd be surprised, Leventhan, you'd be surprised.

Not all of them, though.

Zell from FF8 can do 3,585,452 damage in limit break.

Following that kind of logic, Zell> everything that exist in FF-verse, hah!

Selphie has an insta kill on everything if I am remembering correctly, never tried it on any serious bosses.

If that is true then selphie > Zell > everyone :P

Ohhhh touché!

Nothing in the game is immune or resistant to it

Never played II. I remember reading up on it and most of the early FF were way too similar. I think it was very similar to either I IV or V can't remember, was some years ago. Sound cheap as hell, atleast selphie's was a really low chance of getting it.

What spell is this? Last I checked the final boss absorbs Death and Matter elements (the elements of all the instant death spells that come to mind) and resists the other six.

Several chunks of II's story were recycled in IV, and the concepts behind III were refined in V.

II is the game in which killing the villain made the problem measurably worse.

Warp AND Teleport, which only get more accurate with each level up

Coulda sworn both of those are Matter elemental, which means the final boss(es) absorb them.

Just to corroborate this, I started a Final Fantasy series run a bit earlier this year, and burned through FF2 with lightning speed just abusing Teleport en masse. The only things it didn't work on were a single specific enemy whom I can't remember, and the very last boss, and I imagine that's because I played the PSP remake. Though it could just be that it doesn't work on the last boss. Could be a thing.

Anywho:

FF2: Teleport > Everything.
"Tatakai no naka ni, kotai wo aru." GT: FroznLockz, PSN: SpectreAlpha
FC: 0559 - 7374 - 4528 (Pokemon X Name: Caelum)

I dug up a FFII DoS (GBA) mechanics guide, and to my surprise Hiryuu_Tsurugi is right on the money. Teleport has double the base accuracy of the other Matter-elemental instant death spells like Warp and Toad.

I've been deliberately not leveling it up because I don't want the nightmare scenario of not having enough MP to get out (you play Dragon Quest 1, you learn not to touch your last 14 MP unless it's life or death), but if it has that doubled accuracy in the FC version I've made a mistake going with Toad for my instant death spell.

Wouldn't all of the heroes and baddies be equal according to dissidia lore? I have not played it but from what I understand of it, that is how is seems.

It's been a while since I played the story but IIRC the heroes lost almost every cycle in Dissidia >_>
