This game has been out a while, so I imagine everyone is really experienced. How many hours of play might it take a new player to get good? Is the skill ceiling more about strategy, or is it more about combat? Are there classes that are easier for newer players to play? Are there a lot of advanced techniques to learn? (Things like strafe jumping in Quake, rocket jumping, controlling recoil in CS, throwing invisible spawns in Killzone 2... basically stuff that you only really master after hundreds of hours?)
I normally prefer to play multiplayer games from their release day, so that I can grow and learn with the rest of the community...but this game really looks like something I would love with the pistols, hipfiring, economy, and classes.
