Is there a save game editor for the computer that can edit AC:CF save files? I just would like to move this blasted bride to this other spot.

Just curious.

Ok hanks...now I just need a SD reader to send the file to the computer, and that bridge will be where it was supposed to be...haha! :) How easy is it to use? I was hoping to find a save file to test it with, but can't find a file that matches it's format it asks for. Iy's looking for a .dat file. I only found a .bin file and a .wii file.

It's very user friendly.

When you extract your game file, just make extra copies of it so that if you do mess up your town you don't have to spend time trying to fix it and can just go back to an original back up.

Use Waninkoko's savegame extractor to extract from Wii to SD card the savegame file of animal crossing. They will be stored in folder WIISAVES/RUUE, and there will be a file called RUUE01.dat inside that folder that ACToolkit recognizes. To install back from SD card to Wii use Waninkoko's savegame installer.

Google for finding those two homebrew applications.

Hope this helps.

The only way you'll get that bridge moved is if you 'tweek' your system.

According to AC Wiki

http://accf.wikispaces.com/Hackers

You don't need a tweeked system to edit a saved town

quoted from that page

People with access to the tools necessary to hack can also use various tools found on the internet to edit their save data.
These people aren't necessarily hackers, but are still labeled as such, and can:

* They can Change their map to create custom-built towns, (AC_Toolkit)*
* Create and edit villagers, (NPC_Tool) (Look at the Hacked Villagers section)
* Can change and share any of the existing patterns; NPC, Villager, and player patterns (PattView)
* They can make their own items. (ITEM_Tool and Lame_Tool)

*For changing town map some say you need the homebrew channel to copy it to the SD card, but that's false. With the new Wii System update, you can just copy it to the SD card from the Wii Data Management. If you're new at this its advised to make a copy on 2 SD cards, one to edit on the computer and if it doesn't turn out the way you like, delete it and load the other one.

With my Wii updated to the latest one 4.1, the savegame file for animal crossing city folk cannot be moved or copied, only could be erased by using that data management menu. As far as I understand for game with wifi capability, the savegame file is copy protected. If your Wii somehow allows to do that let me know, I would like to see or understand that.
