Can I get a breakdown of which classes are light, medium, and heavy? I haven't seen which classes will have which armor type anywhere

another important thing is health, as it isn't equal for all classes:
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Health

Warrior and Necromancer get more than the rest
Guardian, Thief and Elementalist get less than the rest

What about energy? Or does that not apply in GW2?

At least read up on it a little first.

I have a question about Armor Types,

would this tend to make warrior the best class, or really strong compared to others?
From what I understand Warriors can do good job at range,
isn't this making them basically the same as say other range classes except with better armor?

The armor doesn't make any real difference. To be honest, the classes are pretty interchangeable. It is more about finding one with abilities and mechanics that fit the way you like to play.

A. I typed energy into the wiki, but it just says endurance so I'm confused if that means you can constantly attack

B. Do the armor types hinder movement as well? I'd think the "heavy armors" should move a little slower, at least in PVP. How fair is an agile Warrior with ranged attacks?

Skills use cooldowns, not energy.
Except for thief. Thief have no cooldowns, but they use initiative points that they regen.

First skill on the bar doesn't use cooldowns or iniative.
