He's one of the many NiGHTS fans that wants to see NiGHTS in Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing even though they think he'll most likely not be in the final game. These kinds of things are annoying for the fact that there are people willing to blackmail Sumo Digital in some way if they don't see NiGHTS as a playable character in the game.
"Yawn, wake me up when Negima and Reborn finish their overly long and dragged on Magical World and Future arcs."
You're right. NiGHTS has no gender, and is thus an "it", not a "he". But at the same time, "he" is the standard gender neutral pronoun of the English language, so the sentence is still correct. Since "it" commonly refers to objects, it is confusing to refer to living things as "it", regardless of the actual gender of the subject. Think of it this way- if you were a robot, would you rather be a "he, or an "it"?
But it's too weird calling a female-looking character like NiGHTS a "he". It's better calling NiGHTS an "it" or a "she". Using your example of the robot, I don't see people calling KOS-MOS(from Xenosaga) a "he". But many call NiGHTS a "he", and that doesn't make sense to me.
