Same as every other Pokemon game, though a younger person may not understand the story very well.

sometimes I have to laugh at those age limit. pokemon are for kids that are 3 years or older. but in the manual, there's writen that you need to uderstand basic english to play the game. since when can 3 year old kids from german or the netherlands etc understand english? meh, whatever, who cares.
No it's not hacked if you used an AR. It's only hacked if you use something like an Action Replay. -GranzonEx

in some countries, yes, it is they're language, but in most countries, it's english, like in the Netherlands. here we have nearly all games in english, including the pokemon games.

I couldn't even read when I was 3.........

Pokemon video game audience is everyone according to Nintendo. They stated it in a article. The cartoon is for 9 to 11 year olds.

Mystery Dungeon on the other hand, not sure about these since they're not out in english but the older ones have dungeons I die alot in. It'd be a real challenge for a kid and I'm not sure if they would ever finish or not. depends on the kid. I'm 20 and died alot in one dungeon.........

They're not that easy.=/

i'm going to say this once but the message will stay here forever so you dont have to pay attention XD
there is no "target age" for any pokemon games. you like it, you buy it. its as simple as that
people often consider pokemon games "childish" and some other stuff but i really dont care

Yeah Tristin. That is why they put in all of that hard, extra stuff in the games and make them fun.
*facepalm*

I actually think that post was a joke post.
