I tried pickpocketing him for a key, but all he had was some 5.56mm ammo. I want that bobblehead :/.

You have to pick the lock.

You mean you forced the lock and failed? You'd best reload a previous save or wait and get the Infiltrator perk. Do yourself a favor and don't force locks above Very Easy.

why would you force a lock on a door leading to a bobblehead?

This is Cloud's buster sword....It protects the 360 Fallout 3 board today, and for the rest of time itself.....

Or if you're going to force lock, at least save before you attempt it.

Do yourself a favor and don't force locks above Very Easy.

Then you better not force any locks at all, because Very Easy locks can be opened just by moving the stick left, no moving of the bobby pins at all. Forcing when you could just do that would be insane.

With 100 lockpick skill, very easy locks have a 100% chance of being forced open. Given the right circumstances, sometimes forcing a lock is the easier option. And very easy locks sometimes still require turning the bobby pin. It just has a more wider sweet spot so it seems that you often don't need to move the pin often.

The majority of V. Easy locks don't have to be turned at all, but yes TC you've blown it.

Perhaps I should have clarified, only force a Very Easy lock with 100 Lockpick.

so If I'm pretty late into my build and I'm not going to be able to get my lock picking skill up to 50 before level 20 there's no way to get the bobble head in his house?
