I agree, this game has pretty much everything I have ever asked for out of a racing sim - the only thing that remains a question mark is the physics engine, which (based on the 370Z demo) seems to be coming along nicely. I need to track down my local GT demo havin' Best Buy, if it's close by I may stop in on my way home from work. If I do that, I'll be sure to make a post raving about its greatness. :P
For race mods it says within the description of GT auto
"Welcome to GT Auto! We offer a diverse variety of detailed services, covering everything from regular maintenance like washing your car and oil changes, to more serious maintenance such as engine and chassis overhauls. We'll even paint your cars or perform racing modifications, transforming your favorite car into a full racing machine. Everything you need to support your car life is available right here!"
My favourite thing in GT2 was the fact that you could racing mod ANY car into a wide-body massive downforce racing prepped beast. 9/10 people will just fully mod a car anyway, so it was nice to have one button to do it all for you. I hope this is what they mean by 'racing mod'
Im excited... i really should order a PS3 soon >_>

From: Syaieya It really makes you wonder what they ment when they said "Many things didnít make the cut in Gran Turismo 5, and work on Gran Turismo 6 has already begun."
Well, I still haven't seen a livery editor, so that's something that didn't make the cut. Changing paint colors isn't the same as a livery editor by a long shot. I can live without it, but it would have been nice for it to be there.
