Yo where do I find the special bosses for each character. I have all the swords that you can't make in the forge except the two you get for beating each characters special boss fight. Its a little frustrating trying to find it.
triAce_Fanboy: They keep saying the FAQ was "Overspecialized". I just took the advice someone made in another thread and just dump all the info on this board instead to let others have it and do whatever they want with it. Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 will be out soon and I want to move on to that instead of playing this "please accept my FAQ" game. Thanks for the confirm on the cook book note.
carloneman: After beating Kisuke and Momohime's story once with both, equip Tsukiotoshi and Mumei Tamanoo on either character then enter their final boss area again to fight their special boss for their 2nd ending.
The Storm Is About To Rage..... Muramasa Shigurui Series: http://tiny.cc/pORr4
I'm going through the game a second time and making a simple world map.
It's going to look just like the world map in game, except it's going to list the order of bosses, the color of lairs and their title.
I would've liked to have that the first time I played the game just so I don't have to look in each map one at a time to find the lair I just got the sword for. I'm not going to make a map for each province since I think the game already does that well. It's not like it's possible to miss something since there are no hidden areas and the maps show you where the items are.
With your permission I'd like to use the lair names as listed here so that people can correlate.
Damage Recovery/Last Chance Recovery/Fatal Hit Recovery/etc
This thing can have many names, I just call it recovery tech. Anyways this is vital to survival in Shigurui. What happens is that it looks like your character takes a hit or even dies but they get right back up. On non-Shigurui difficulties you will notice your character gains back the all the HP they lost. There are two types.
- Normal one, just hold down A button as your character is hit. The easiest boss to test this against is vs. Tsuchigumo's (spider boss) unblockable web spit.
- Post-sword shatter one, quickly press A the moment your sword breaks. The timing seems pretty strict but if successful you'll notice your character will still be alive on Shigurui where in other cases a sword break means death. When you perform this successfully you also gain about 50% soul power back on the sword gauge.
