hey......

I was just wondering........for someone looking to play through as a DW, DPS focused Rogue....what would be the best equipment to use/wear?

-Weapons ( Daggers and Swords )
-Armor ( Light/Med )
-Accessories ( best stat boosting )

thanks.

Superior Drakeskin Armor which you receive from Wade for 3 Drake Scales. Pay him 10g and 3 Drake scales one time and then another pay him 20g and 3 more Drake scales for Superior.

MINOR SPOILERS: Drake scales are found off of Drakes in the Ruins during the Urn of Sacred Ashes quest.

As for weapons, I run a DW Dagger rogue and I find that the Rose's Thorn in the main hand and Thorn of the Dead god's in your off-hand is probably the best. The Rose's Thorn is found in Orzammar in the Commons for 148g and the Thorn of the Dead god's is in Caridans Cross. You will find 3 piles of rubble and a Runestone which adds a codex entry about the Drifter's cache. Complete it to get the Dagger.

Well for DPS rogue you need the right build which is
36 dex
16 cunning (22 if you want stealth)
then rest into strength while dabbling in con or willpower if you so choose.

As for the weapons, off the top of my head these are some of the best:
Starfang (warden's keep DLC)
Topsiders Honor (deep roads quest)
Rose Thorn (dagger purchasable in ozammar 130 gold)
The axe that you can purchase in camp (don't recall name)

Armor is either Super Drakeskin Armor or Warden's Armor

Oh and also, doesn't the superior drakeskin armour become redundant after reaching the dexterity cap?

Not really because the superior drakeskin armor reduces fatigue with the item set bonus.

@Amoral1ty not exactly...

For cunning utility rogues, it's the best (for the most part) because of the stamina bonus and good protection (dex also increases your defense)...

For Strength dps rogues Warden's Armor or some of the other heavier armors are better.

Alternatively you can piece together your set for something close to what a normal set bonus will give. There are quite a few good single pieces of equipment, so you should be able to get close to the same effectiveness...

Personally I find set bonuses usually outweigh non-set items.
