Lee Sin all of the sudden 100x easier to dominate with.

Ryze is just hilarious.

Katarina is impossible to hit with a skillshot.

I always thought it was sort of a preference thing, but it makes some champions just work so much more fluid.

Exactly this. It took me one game to get used to the ranges, and a few more to get used to directing my Q where I actually want it.

I should mention that I used to smartcast everything but had the indicators on, but that's not faster than normal casting at all. It's potentially slower, if anything.

I do play Rumble, but I think I think I can afford to Shift-R when it comes to a single skill placement.

No. I don't how taking out one step (clicking to confirm) slows down anything.

It slows you down by like .2 seconds, which is enough reaction time for them to say, flash out of range (especially for people like ryze that spam).

I think the point is that it would still be faster than normal casting, having to click with a mouse and all, but otherwise it's a noticeable difference slower than smartcasting without indicators.

Smartcast with indicators means that the ability will be used after you RELEASE the button. Rapidly clicking two buttons is potentially faster than clicking and releasing the same button.
