...I think (more on this later).

Got saddled as support, so I went with Taric after seeing ADC pick Vayne. Her client ****s on her and had to d/c for a few minutes. Team wins anyway cause Garen got extremely fed on Xin while Vayne came back and caught up, all while the enemy Morde talked trash about how Garen was a faceroll champ unlike him (riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight).

Then my client bugsplats right when I enter the results screen. When I reload the client and check my history, it says I just played a normal game.

I have two questions:

1) Did the client bug out or was I actually playing a normal draft game and my mind played tricks on me?
2) If this was a ranked game, is it always like this?

Its gonna be like that until you get a lot of ranked games under your belt.

unless you have reliably good teammates, you don't want to play support, you can't carry as support

You played a Normal, and yes most games are a complete trashtalk blamefest until 2200+.

I didn't want to, but all the other roles were called. Also, Taric does a surprising amount of damage now with all the changes (almost beat the enemy bot lane 1v2).
