So I accidentally stumbled onto playing dominion a few minutes ago, pretty fun but really hectic. Anyone can give me tips and what champs to use?

If you can't get top because your team doesn't have enough poke/hard engage to force people away from the point, stop going for it and backdoor/gank another point.

Step 1: Pick Anivia.

2: Level up wall first, then Q then E.

3: Rush On-hit such as Kitae's Bloodrazor, Bortk and Wit's end

4: Laugh like crazy as you "Accidentally" trap your teammates in places they didn't want to be in

6: Carry and win
Never give up.
Never surrender.

Just use an easy noob champ like Xin Zhao or Akali, I would recommend Master Yi but he is reserved for an expert such as myself so hands off.

There's a lot to cover, but Sauron's guide at ( is an amazing place to start.

If you've got specific questions though, I'd be happy to answer them. I've played a lot of Dominion and I've got a decent handle on the strategy of it.

As far as which champs to use, you've got a lot of freedom. Favor champs with any combination of durability, mobility, and strong poke, and you're probably golden. That said, almost anything can be made to work if you're good enough. If you're just starting out though, I would personally recommend staying away from ranged AD carries, since they take so long to ramp up.

In any case, good no-brainer choices would Kassadin, Rammus, Ryze, Jayce, Diana, Jarvan, and Wukong. Some of 'em might get you called out for playing OP champs, but if you're learning the ropes to begin with, you kinda want solid simple picks that'll let you focus on figuring out how the game flows.

Never have gotten around to checking the DD site, but it looks like Sauron's guide and tier list on the LoL boards are more updated. Basic map information's still the same, but standard bans, relative champ strengths, and item builds have changed a bit since the guide was first released.

One tip off the top of my head is to use the fog of war. Try not to be visible if you don't have to be. If all four of your top-laners are sitting on the windmill, the enemy team has no reason to fight over top when your mid is completely undefended. Likewise, please don't go for top if you see the entire enemy team camping on it
